EUREPA Certification in Epileptology for Medical Doctors

The EUREPA Certification in Epileptology for Medical Doctors offers a curriculum and onsite training program to achieve a specialization in epileptology. Details of the curriculum/certification can be found on this download [PDF,97KB]

For participants within this program, an educational network of training centers guarantees onsite training possibilities in many European countries.

EPODES

The European Program on Development of Epilepsy Surgery in Central & Eastern Europe (EPODES), initiated by the ILAE Commission on European Affairs, has supported the development of epilepsy surgery through courses on epilepsy surgery (e.g. the Brno epilepsy surgery course in March 2008), accompanied by fellowships for neurologists in hosting centers specializing in epilepsy surgery and visiting professorships to hosting centers beginning with epilepsy surgery. In 2009, five epilepsy surgery fellowships (3 months onsite training, candidates from Armenia, Bulgaria, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine) and two visiting professorships (to Romania and Georgia) were i.e. are still being realized.
