How to receive EUREPA accreditation and ILAE-CEA support for courses
A guide for course organizers
Here we sum up relevant information on the
- EUREPA accreditation procedure and
- ILAE - Commission on European Affairs (CEA) support of educational activities and scientific conferences as well as for the
- organization of courses.
The EUREPA office at office@epilepsy-academy.org is very willing to consult in all matters related to course organization, like budgeting, course format, didactics etc.
EUREPA accreditation procedure
- Educational courses must comply with EUREPA “Rules for educational courses” determining the preconditions to get the Academy label and certification.
- For accreditation request use the online application form “EUREPA accreditation form”.
- Send the detailed program of your course including faculty members and time schedule to office@epilepsy-academy.org.
- The application form and the program need to be sent to the office 6 weeks before the course to office@epilepsy-academy.org.
ILAE - CEA support of educational activities and scientific conferences
- Support will only be granted if the event complies with the CEA Guidelines for the support of educational activities and scientific conferences. For educational activities, EUREPA accreditation is mandatory (included in the "CEA support form" below).
- For CEA support request use the online application form “CEA support form”.
- The application must be submitted one year in advance of the event.

- Exemplary evaluation forms > Forms for different course formats
- Teaching methods to be used in courses > This area will gradually be amended. Your input on teaching methods you experience as useful is very welcome. Please contact the EUREPA office at office@epilepsy-academy.org.

- Budget calculation template > Microsoft Excel sheet with an example budget calculation (on the first worksheet - this is protected and you cannot change any figures) and the "Budget Calculation Template" (on the second worksheet) which you can use for your budget calculation. You can download the template and work with it.
- Logistic support services (only for CEA supported courses) > The Eurepa office can provide information to give an idea on the services it may be able to render. Before applying for any logistic support, please get in touch with the EUREPA office at office@epilepsy-academy.org on the availability of EUREPA staff.
